Het domain "Treelodge", located at Hoevendijk 27, 2470 Retie, is managed by the BVBA Treelodge (ltd.).
These regulations (booking conditions and rules of conduct) must be respected by all guests and visitors to the domain. By paying the invoice, the tenant declares to know and accept the booking conditions and rules of conduct.
After making a booking request you will receive an invoice by email. The deposit (50% of the total amount) must be paid within 30 days of receiving the invoice. Only after payment is the booking final. If the amount is not paid 30 days after receipt of the invoice, the booking request expires.
The remaining amount must be transferred at the latest 30 days before your arrival date.

The number of persons per tree house (as mentioned on the website), plus 2 additional persons as a visitor by booking a floating tent, corresponds to the maximum allowed occupancy, taking into account the available facilities. For safety and insurance reasons, this number may not be exceeded.
The person who books and pays for the booking is responsible for compliance with the terms of use and payment of the invoices.
No visitors are allowed on the site, except for those who have booked (tree house and possibly floating tent). Exceptions may be permitted but must be requested by the tenant in writing well in advance. This must then be approved in writing by Treelodge.
If visitors are allowed, we must receive a written overview of these visitors in advance (first name - surname - age - reason for visit).
Bringing pets/animals is not allowed on the Treelodge domain.
All cancellations must be made in writing. A registered letter and e-mail are valid. The following provisions apply to cancellations:

Up to and including 7 days before your arrival, you can change your reservation. For these changes, we charge an additional administration fee, i.e. €15 plus the possible extra costs of a more expensive reservation.

Guests and visitors:
All building constructions are built in accordance with standard EN1176 (= regulations for public use).
However, the tree houses and the grounds are at a certain risk because of constructions at height, stairs, making a campfire, use of BBQ and so on. You are responsible for your own safety and certainly for the safety of your child(ren).
Entering the tree houses is entirely at your own risk in case of the following situations: pregnancy, people with a disability, diabetes, vertigo, somnambulism, epilepsy, heart problems, uncorrected loss of vision for safety reasons and any other medical condition in which the person in question can lose control of themselves.
Valuable objects:
It is best not to leave valuables behind in your accommodation. Treelodge cannot be held responsible for thefts that are committed.
Alcohol, smoking and drugs:
It is strictly forbidden to be “under the influence of alcohol and drugs” in the tree houses, on the terraces, in the entrances (stairs, ladders, bridges), in the floating tents, at the fire places and at the BBQ.
Smoking in the tree houses is strictly forbidden.
You can smoke on the terrace but it is strictly forbidden to leave cigarette butts in nature. An ashtray for your cigarette butts will be present in every tree house. It is forbidden to smoke when a code red or orange has been issued by the fire brigade.

By accepting these general terms and conditions, you declare that you are aware that your stay takes place in the open air, with all the less pleasant surprises that may result from this: changeable weather conditions, presence of insects, birds and mammals in the vicinity of the tree houses, terraces, campfires, parking and possibly even in the tree house.
If no damage, exceptional cleaning costs or loss can be established, the deposit will be refunded within 14 days. However, if damage or loss can be established, Treelodge reserves the right to withhold part of or all of the deposit.
All complaints regarding your stay must be sent by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt within 30 days after your stay.
All disputes concerning compliance with these regulations will be settled by the competent courts of the judicial district of Turnhout and in accordance with Belgian law.
We ask you to leave the tree houses in the same condition as you received them and according to the guidelines below.
The tree houses should be left as follows:
If the tree house is left behind in such a way that exceptional cleaning is required, there will also be an additional charge for the sorting of incorrectly sorted waste, cleaning costs, laundry costs...
In case of late departure from the tree house, a minimum of €100 will be charged on the invoice.
If the key with hanger is not returned, €30 will be charged per key on the invoice.
